Happy New Year!
Are you reading 66 in ‘26? You may be wondering what that means. Well in 2026 we at LCPC are reading all 66 books of the Bible. That is 66 books in 2026. If you haven’t started reading, you can start today.
As a church we are reading the Bible using the Bible Recap Bible reading plan. Each day, we read about 4 chapters in the Bible, and this is followed by a “recap” by the host of The Bible Recap, Tara-Leigh Cobble. The best and easiest way to follow the plan is to use the YouVersion Bible app on your mobile phone or tablet and then in the Bible app, find the Bible Recap with Taral-Leigh Cobble and press start. That is it.
There is something special about reading the Bible as a community. When you read the Bible with others, questions can be asked and answered, insights from others can be helpful, and there is encouragement in keeping up.
If you can’t join us in reading the Bible though the app then find another way to read the Bible. Reading God’s Word and letting it renew your mind can change your life and help you in being a disciple of Jesus.
