We invite you, family, neighbors, and friends to Worship with us.  At Lakeside Community Presbyterian Church, “LCPC” we are friendly and welcoming to ALL. Each one of us is the church, and committed to worship the Lord with joy, love one another as Jesus instructed, and serve our community and beyond.

Come worship with us Sunday at 9:45 AM, Bible study at 11AM, Men’s or Women’s studies, and small group studies during the week.

June 4th – 10 AM Men’s Prayer Breakfast in the  Fireside Room

June 12th – All Women we are going to Liberty Station in Pt. Loma. Bring your own lunch and picnic with us. We will carpool from the church at 11AM.

June 19th – 2 PM Young At Heart (all retirees & seniors welcomed) in Room 1 & 2 Movie Day, sign up sheet, recommend $5 donation.

 

SUMMER PRAYER READING

We encourage you to spend time in prayer, it can be a life changing decision. For the next 13 weeks of summer, pray 3x a day, when you wake, at noon, and before bed.

“Lord God, almighty and everlasting Father, You have brought me in safely to this new day. Preserve me with Your might power, that I may not fall into sin, nor be overcome by adversity; and in all that I do, direct me to the fulfilling of Your purpose; through Jesus Christ my Lord. Mid-Day Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me the rest of this day to use words and display actions that are a witness to Jesus. I know that I will not be perfect, so I humbly ask for your forgiveness. Holy Spirit, empower me to honor Your name. May I and other Christ-followers be light in our world. Thank you for Your love and grace. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
 
Evening Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ by your death You took away the sting of death; Grant me peace as I rest, knowing that I am Your child. When I wake, may I be more like You, loving others that I meet, trusting in Your provisions for all that I need. Amen.

MINISTRIES AT A GLANCE:

 
COFFEE TIME – Every Sunday in the Fireside Room before service (9:30-9:45) and after service (10:45-11:15) we serve complimentary coffee, tea, and treats.
 
MUSIC –Come sing with our choir on Sunday. Practice is Thursday evening at 6:00 PM and/or 8:45 AM on Sunday before service. If you are interested, contact Ron Hilley email: ronhilley@ymail.com
 
ADULT SUNDAY SMALL GROUP CLASS – Sundays at 11:00AM and concludes at noon. 
 
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL – Children are excused during the worship service for Sunday School. Nursery is also open an available for little ones.
 
SMALL GROUP STUDY – Wednesday at 6PM, The Chosen, in the Fireside Room. Bible Study (reading 66 Books in 2026, The Bible Recap) via Zoom on Thursdays @ 11AM and in person in the Fireside Room at 5pm on Thursday.
 
MEN’S SMALL GROUP STUDY – 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00pm 
 
WOMEN’S SMALL GROUP STUDY – Monday’s at 3PM to 4:30PM in the Fireside Room. 
 
WOMEN GROWING IN FAITH TOGETHER (G.I.F.T.) G.I.F.T. is the women’s group open to all women, and you are encouraged to bring your friends. 
 
PRAYER MINISTRY – We have a team of prayer warriors that pray for your prayer requests. This ministry also offers prayer walks, breakfast, and recommended readings throughout the year. 
 
PRAYER QUILT MINISTRY (PQM) – Room 1 & 2 on Mondays at 10 AM. Don’t sew? That’s ok, come anyways and join these energetic women.
 
YOUNG AT HEART – Are you a senior and/or retired and looking for a group of active minded individuals? The Young at Heart ministry gets together for potlucks, movies, luau’s and more throughout the year.
 
EAT & GREET – Free lunch for the community including refreshments, devotional, BINGO, and live music, last Sunday of the month at 12:15PM in the Fellowship Hall.
 
 
Once a month you have the opportunity to purchase a gift card from a large assortment of stores, restaurants, online shopping, gas stations, hotels and more. There are 750+ brands to choose from. When you place your order on a Sunday, you receive the full value of the gift card, but the church receives a percentage (depending on the store) of the amount purchased. The cards are delivered approx. one week after the Scrip order is submitted. The amount LCPC has received has been used to purchase paint for the bathrooms, play equipment for the kids, and more. REMEMBER – there is ZERO extra out of pocket money from you. The stores, as part of their community commitment identify the percentage they give.
