Pastor’s Note 07/21/22

“Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.

Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”

1 John 4:7

Better Together.

We are a better church connected to one another. Being connected is more than just saying “hi” to someone on a Sunday morning. It is studying the Scriptures together. It is praying for one another. It is being connected to other brothers and sisters at church but also outside of church. It is sharing life together and being a church family.

We are better when we do life together in Christ.

One of the ways that we can grow in this connectedness is by studying the scriptures with each other. This Sunday we have an opportunity to do that in a class with Rev. John Moser at 11am. John is the Interim Executive Presbyter for Presbytery of San Diego. Before becoming the Interim Presbyter, John was the pastor at Mt. Soledad Presbyterian Church in La Jolla for 14 years. Come and learn about Christ in the Scriptures but more importantly, come and be with others as we learn together what it means to be a disciple of Christ.

Have a great rest of the week and I hope to see you on Sunday.
