OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD (OCC)
Every year LCPC supports OCC. This year our goal is to fill 70 boxes and pay for the shipment so children around the world will receive our gifts. The filled shoeboxes of toys and trinkets is just the start
because each child will also receive The Greatest Story, 12 lessons in the Gospel, and a New Testament in their own language!

This is your opportunity to be a part of spreading the Word. Please consider giving a gift by dropping it in the container in the Narthex, or give a monetary donation. Give online and select OCC for the fund, or by check and write OCC in the memo line. Monetary donations will allow us to purchase items to fill the boxes.
When giving a gift for the shoebox, consider a soccer ball (not inflated) with a hand pump, doll (that fits into a shoebox), stuffed animal, washcloth, hairbrush, socks, school supplies. Do not give
toothpaste, used or damaged items, no scary or war-related items, no food, candy, lotions, liquids, glass, vitamins or aerosol cans. The children are ages 2-14.

In early November everyone is invited to participate in the packing party to fill the shoeboxes. Refreshments & food will be served to the volunteers.

SCRIP BrandListNoGroup (3)
Once a month you have the opportunity to purchase a gift card from a large assortment of stores, restaurants, online shopping, gas stations, hotels and more. There are 750+ brands to choose from. When you place your order on a Sunday, you receive the full value of the gift card, but the church receives a percentage (depending on the store) of the amount purchased. The cards are delivered approx. one week after the Scrip order is submitted. The amount LCPC has received has been used to purchase paint for the bathrooms, play equipment for the kids, and more. REMEMBER – there is ZERO extra out of pocket money from you. The stores, as part of their community commitment identify the percentage they give.
