Pastor’s Note 01/15/2026

“THE BIBLE IS TRUTH” my granddaughter Charlotte (aka Charlie) announced loudly to her preschool class. It was fun to watch the video of her saying that to her class.

 

As we begin our year of reading through the Bible, I hope that the words from Charlie ring true for you!

 

It was at last Sunday’s worship service, I asked those in attendance to let me know if they were reading the Bible in 2026 and over 35 people replied that they were. I know that a number of you weren’t in attendance at worship and are doing the Bible Recap reading plan so that means about 40 people from LCPC are reading the Bible in 2026. That is over 50% of those who attend worship on Sundays are reading God’s Word.

 

My prayer is that for all of us, as we are reading God’s Word, we may gain a deeper love for God and a deeper love for others. I also can’t wait to see how God will be working in the life of our church because we are digging deeper into God’s Word together. We are going to learning what Charlie said, “The Bible is Truth!”
