I hope that you were able to enjoy Christmas with family and friends and I wanted to invite you to start off the new year by joining us for worship on January 1 at 11am. It will be a full service where we will continue singing some Christmas carols (it is only the 7th day of Christmas) and since it is the first Sunday of the month, we will be having communion as a part of worship. This will be a great way to beginning 2023.
Hope that you can join us at
11:00am on January 1 and
Happy New Year!
P.S. If you would like to wear a mask during worship, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, just a friendly reminder that if you aren’t feeling well, please do stay home for the safety of others.

I wanted to write a quick note to say “Thank You” to all of you who contributed toward the money that was raised for our teachers and staff that serve at the Lakeside Presbyterian Children’s Center. We raised over $2,000 for a Christmas gift to be distributed to the teachers and staff as a big thank you for all that they do for the children of our community.
Also, just a quick note to remind you that our Christmas Eve Service will take place at 4:00pm at LCPC as we celebrate Christ’s birth with a candlelight service where we will hear the Christmas story in Scripture and sing Christmas carols.
Then on Sunday, Christmas Day we will have a worship service at 11:00am celebrating Christ’s birth followed by warm drinks and Mary’s Donuts: cinnamon rolls! Yum!
If you can’t attend our services over the weekend we will miss you and I hope that you will be able to worship with us in 2023!
Merry Christmas!

Even though this is the season that we sing “all is calm, all is bright” it seems like our lives feel like anything but calm. The times of preparing for Christmas keep us busier than usual and it makes life a bit hectic.
It is during times like this that we need to be reminded of the simple story of Christmas: of a couple’s journey, the birth of baby, the wonder that God has come to earth.
Celebrating this amazing miracle of God is something that is an important part of our faith as Christians so I want to make sure that you mark your calendar for our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services. On Christmas Eve at 4:00pm at LCPC we will be having candlelight service where we hear the Christmas story in Scripture and sing Christmas carols.
Then on Sunday, Christmas Day we will have a worship service at 11am celebrating Christ’s birth.
I hope that you can attend and if you have a friend who is looking for a service, be sure to invite them.
See you on Sunday.
