Pastor’s Note 10/23/2025
“30 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life
in His Name.” John 20:30, 31
Signs. They point us to certain things. Sometimes it is to go a certain way. Sometimes it is to avoid something. Signs point us in the right direction.
Jesus’ miracles were signs that pointed to who Jesus is. That He is God incarnate. We also discover who God is through these miracles and signs. They point out that that our God is good, that He is trustworthy, that He is generous, that He is loving, and that He is kind. He is going about His Kingdom building, reclaiming what is His, and Lakeside Community Presbyterian Church is doing its part to expand this Kingdom.
I hope that you will come this Sunday as we look at another sign that points us to who Jesus is and the God that we believe in.
Have a great rest of the week.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—
and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
(Hebrews 10:24 & 25)
Hope to see you this Sunday as we continue in our sermon series, Signs: The Miracles of Jesus. This week look at John 9.1-7 and A Boy Who was Born Blind.
