Steve and Debbie both grew up in the San Diego area…Debbie in Claremont and Steve in Spring Valley. They met while attending Berean Bible College in East San Diego, and were married 7/23/83. They have two children. Son Jesse was born in Honduras 5/8/87. He is attending UCR as a math major. Hannah, our daughter, was born in Venezuela 9/22/91. She is in her senior year in high school. Jesse lives in Redlands CA and Hannah with us in Nampa

I felt drawn to missions work since nearly the beginning of my Christian walk in 1971…began active pursuit of missions in 1976 when I began my formal aviation maintenance training.

We have been to Honduras, Venezuela and Mexico. There is always some threat living in the developing world. In Venezuela the threat of the FARC was a constant growing and ebbing factor.

I can without reservation say that I have no difficulty seeing God’s hand working through us, but I must insist that it was always Him and not us.

I really enjoy the book of John. That is the book I chose to use when I was asked to lead a Sunday school class for a Spanish Speaking fellowship.
