Visiting LCPC

for the first time?

We want you to know that you are welcome!  You will find people of all ages and backgrounds.  Some like to dress in their “Sunday best”, others like to be casual and comfortable (shorts and t-shirts).  Either way, you’ll fit right in. You decide what is right for you.   As you arrive at the church, you will find plenty of parking, both in the front and at the rear of the church.  Everything is on one level, and so is easily accessible for all.

Our worship varies from week to week, including many different styles and elements.  Our Praise Team leads us in worship through contemporary Christian music usually two Sundays a month.  Our choir sings every Sunday from September through June.  Our organ is also an important part of worship.  (For more information on this very unusual instrument, see the music page.)

We celebrate the Lord’s Supper once a month, usually on the first Sunday. Communion is open to all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  You do not need to be a member of the Presbyterian church; as this is the Lords table and all are invited.

If you have children, a nursery is available for children through age 5 in Room 3 through the end of the education hour.  Children in kindergarten through fifth grade attend the first part of  worship with their parents.  After “Children’s Time” with the the Pastor, they are excused to go to “Kaleidoscope”, a program of singing and special learning activities, in Room One.  (Parents can pick up their children from Kaleidoscope at this time.  Room One is right off the patio.)

After worship, everyone is invited to a time of fellowship on the patio where you can get a cup of coffee, tea or lemonade and occasionally waffles or bagels!

At 11:00 AM there are Sunday School classes for children, youth, and adults.  See the morning bulletin for details.
